The Ministry of Finance of Finland expects an increase by 100% in GDP and 70% in  employment by 2019. Tikkurila will build a plant in the Leningrad region

The forecast of Ministry of Finance of Finland about the GDP growth at a rate twice is based on a noticeable increase in exports and consumer activity. According to forecasts of
the economists of the Ministry of Finance, the growth in the economy of Finland will be at the level of 1.5% from 2018 to 2019. The Ministry foresees that employment will grow by about 70%.

A positive contribution to the economic forecast was made by the largest Finnish industrial concern Tikkurila. The manufacturer of industrial coatings and paints bought 7 hectares of land to build a plant in Lomonosov district of Leningrad region.

The construction of the new plant will begin at the end of 2018 and Tikkurila plans to start production by 2020. According to the press service of Tikkurila, the investment amount will be € 30-35 million, and planned capacity - 30 million liters of product a year.
