Finnish Industrialists intend to develop production in Russia more actively

By the end of 2016 it was manufacturing companies which earned more than 50% of revenue of the 30 largest companies operating in Russia. In 2017 representatives of the industry plan to improve production, mostly through investments in increasing production capacity, export, development of new products and line extensions.

The company Fortum (power plant in Chelyabinsk and Tyumen regions), working in the field of energy, is among the most active players, operating in Russia. Producers of food products are not far behind: Paulig coffee company demonstrates the growth in production, Valio significantly expanded the range of products (almost by one third), and optimization of production processes contributed to the revenue growth of the giant paint company Tikkurila.
