Logistics companies of Scandinavia to combine

The shipping companies of Finland and Norway Containerships and Viasea decided to create a common route system for more efficient logistics chain.

Both companies – more skilled Containerships and young Viasat - actively develop the activity in the direction of prompt delivery of small and average freights on "door-door" system. Until now, however, the carriers worked in different directions, though in one region. Taking into account the increasing requirements for fast cargo delivery and the cost of services, the use of an extensive routing between the two operators will allow Containerships and Viasea to become more competitive.

It is assumed that new routes of the young Norwegian company – Baltic region, Continental European countries - will be added to the directions well-developed by the logistics specialists of Finland.
