Uber to restart operating in the territory of Finland

One of the world's largest transportation services returns to the Suomi market, taking advantage of changes in the local legislation. Now the competition between the companies, providing taxi services, will increase again.

Uber suspended its activities for almost a year due to the fact that one of the service packages, which was offered to passengers in Finland, allowed drivers without a special license to work. As a result, a number of employees of the company were prosecuted and fined a decent amount.

Changes in the legal orders simplify the process of obtaining permits and allow shipping companies to set their own costs. This will increase the level of struggle in the environment of taxi services not only for passengers, but also for drivers. The latter will now have a wider choice in employment, focusing on the conditions offered by the employer and the percentage of the transportation cost.
