At the end of November Finnish entrepreneurs will open a new shopping complex Zsar Outlet on the border with Russia. Thus Suomi is trying to attract more tourists during the new year holidays.

Vaalimaa village has been chosen as the site for the construction of a large entertainment centre with more than 60 shops, where it is planned to present well-known European brands with discounts of up to 70%. It was planned to implement the project in 2014, however, the economic crisis deterred investors. At the moment, more than 40 million euros have been invested in the construction, both on the part of the company Finnish industrial investments, and on the part of future tenants.

The main goal is to attract an additional flow of Russian tourists from St. Petersburg and the regions. In addition, the new outlet will be a source of additional jobs for Finland.
