Sales of Nokian Tyres in Russia and CIS increased by 84% from January to June this year

From January to June of this year profit of Nokian Tyres company grew by 19.6 percent compared to the first half of last year and amounted to 153 million euros. In the financial report of the company it is said that the most part of the profit growth was due to sales in Russia and the CIS. The company's sales in Russia and CIS increased by 84%.

The total amount of Nokian Tyres investments in 2017 is 190 million euros, 83 million of which were made in Russia.

By the end of this year the largest tyre manufacturer in Scandinavia plans to launch a new production line at Vsevolozhsk plant in Russia. The company expects to increase its production from 15.5 million of tires in the first half of the year up to 17 million of tires in the second one.
