Statistics center of Finland summed up the results of the second quarter of 2017

In the second quarter of 2017 the Finnish economy grew by 1.6%, compared to the same period last year. The Finnish Central Bank predicts the growth of Finland GDP by 2.1%.

The statistics center also notes that unemployment level in the country continues to grow. So, it increased by 0.9% in the second quarter.

Also, the Statistics center of Finland counted that the number of open positions had increased compared to the same period of the previous year. This figure increased by 20%. New workers are required most of all in the fields of public administration, education, health, social work and mining.

The number of part-time jobs fell almost two times in the country. The share of job offers from private companies dropped from 77% to 71%.
