New equipment of Kalmar will go to the port of St. Petersburg in 2018

One of the largest seaports of the Baltic sea signed a contract with Finnish manufacturer Kalmar to supply new portal containers.

The company has been successfully cooperating with the Russian ports, the staff of which have extensive experience in working with the products of the Finnish vendor. The big port of St. Petersburg has partnered with Kalmar for more than 30 years, constantly adding new developments to the existing equipment and machinery stock, such as harbour cranes, tractors, stacker trucks for handling empty containers.

The level of vessels maintenance will increase significantly due to 12 new portal container ships, that is important for the port, which is the largest container terminal in Russia. The large port of St. Petersburg works with such world leaders of marine transportation as Maersk, CGM, MSC, FESCO.
