Julkaistu 04 huhtikuu 2018
In early spring an application to simplify the crossing of the Russian border was officially launched in the Southeast region of Finland.

Testing of the program began in the fall of 2017. The application was developed on the initiative of the authorities of Imatra border town in order to facilitate the entry to the country of Russian tourists. Installed on the mobile phone program informs online the user of the estimated time of the border  crossing at the checkpoints Imatra and Nuiyamaa, as well as allows you to take out a car insurance policy.

At the moment, the application has already been used by about two thousand people. Finally, the experiment on the use of such a system will be completed in the summer of 2018. In the future, the program action is planned to expand to all checkpoints of the border between Russia and Finland. Development and testing were made possible largely due to the revenues from cross-border companies, shops and shopping centers, which place their ads within the application.
