Finnish construction companies are increasing production in Russia

Peikko Corporation opened a new plant in St. Petersburg in the presence of official representatives of Russia and Finland at the end of April.

The company has been working in the Russian market for a long time, the launch of new production facilities will allow even more actively participate in the construction industry of the country. Peikko produces a wide range of products for reinforced concrete structures, for example, connecting elements of columns, beams, wall and balcony slabs, anchoring plates, modern flat floor constructions, components of bases for turbines. The opening of a new plant is not only the creation of new jobs, but also investments in the further development of the concern on the territory of the EEC.

Also in April, a contract was signed with the Finnish company YIT to repair the Moscow-Minsk road, which is the part of the highway leading to the European Union. The concern has been working in Russia since 1961 and is actively involved not only in the construction and road works, but also in implementation of projects on residential and commercial real estate building.
