The GrainSense company, created on the basis of the technical research centre of Finland VTT, has developed a new device that allows farmers to conduct more efficient manufacturing activities.
The portable device uses technologies applied in laboratory analysis of product quality. In so doing, farmers can carry out grain quality control directly in the field. The device adapts to a certain type of crop and allows you to determine the protein content at different stages of maturation, as well as the degree of maturation. This allows producers to change their fertilization and harvest plans.
Now the company is active in the markets of Finland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, and it plans to expand to the entire European Union.
