Itella introduces IoT technologies to Russian pharmacists

Itella, one of the most famous Finnish suppliers of warehouse and logistics services in Russia, offers its customers a new storage format using the Internet of Things concept. The first customers were the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in the Russian Federation.

Equipping several warehouse sites in the Moscow region with a system connected to a single network of sensors made it possible to minimize a person's participation in the "setting up" of the storage process and compliance with optimal conditions for medicines. All readings are analyzed at the program level, and information is transmitted to users online.
