Russia and Finland develop transit "digitally”
Publishedо 30 September, 2021
At the TRANSTEC-2021 forum, representatives of the state railway operators of Russia and Finland confirmed the course for further development of transit services with maximum transfer of processes to electronic form.

In 2021, the countries jointly delivered goods from Suomi along the North-South corridor to India and Iran. The first transit trains to China were launched. For the first time, trains with Finnish goods began to leave to Japan on a regular basis. The digitization of most of the document flow for these supplies significantly reduces transit time.
