The list of sanctioned goods from Russia has been updated

The Customs Department of the Republic of Finland reminds importers of the entry into force of EU Council Regulation No. 2022/1904 of 06.10.2022, according to which, after January 8, 2023, goods manufactured in Russia, indicated in Part B of Annex XXI, are prohibited from being delivered to the territory of the European Union.

The updated list includes various groups of products, such as essential oils, cigarettes, cosmetics, clothing and shoes, plastic in various forms, leather raw materials and bags, engines, generators and so on.

It should be remembered that the restrictions apply to both legal entities and individuals. The products of the sanctions group found at the border will either be returned to the Russian Federation or confiscated.
