Finland entered new markets for dairy products
Publishedо 17 September, 2015
The customs service of Finland reports that prohibited for importation into Russia dairy products were reoriented to Egypt and the Netherlands.

It should be noted that in the first half of 2015 export of dairy products declined by 10% as compared with the previous year. This is due to the sanctions imposed by Russia against Finland. However, according to the Minister for Foreign Trade of Finland, by entering markets in the Netherlands and Egypt the country is gradually beginning to compensate any losses incurred due to the Russian embargo. The Central Union of agricultural producers in Finland reports that during the period of entry into force of sanctions from Russia, local milk producers have lost more than 150 million euros.
