Wartsila will improve the operation of the LNG tankers GasLog

The Finnish company Wartsila signed a contract for maintenance of seven tankers to transport liquefied natural gas and to ensure their continued operation.
The data of ships GasLog, Wartsila collected via satellite will allow the most efficient organization of the vessels operation, significantly increase the exploitation intervals between maintenance support, ensure the optimum performance of the main engines, harmonize supply logistics of additional parts, thereby minimize fuel consumption and lower running costs. In addition to all these benefits, the analysis of the collected data should contribute to reduction of harmful emissions from ships.
Also, the contract includes repair service for all 28 dual-fuel engines Wartsila 50DF.
