Russia and Finland are ready to start Allegro again

Representatives of the state railway companies of Russia and Finland confirmed their readiness to resume the traffic of Allegro and “Lev Tolstoy” trains. Passengers are only waiting for the borders to open.

So far, due to quarantine restrictions imposed by Suomi, the Vainikkala-Buslovskaya section carrying out border control of passengers has been closed. Russian Railways hopes to resume the traffic in the coming months.
