Wärtsilä will supply engines for a new dredging vessel "Scheldt River"

Internationally known company Wärtsilä signed a contract for the supply of motor and other related equipment for the bi-fuel dredging vessel of a new generation. Due to developmentsthe dredger will operate on marine fuel and liquefied natural gas. Today, the delivery includes a 9-cylinder Wärtsilä 34DF and one 12-cylinder engines, two thrusters and two propellers Wärtsilä with controllable pitch. The construction of the vessel will do the company Royal IHC. 

It is noteworthy that this is not the first large order of Wärtsilä in recent months - in June the company signed an agreement to supply equipment for a milling dredging vessel of the company Tianjin Dredging Company (China).
