Julkaistu 24 syyskuu 2015
The EU will provide 23 million euros for the construction of a liquefied natural gas terminal with capacity of 30 thousand m3.

The terminal will be built in the city of Pori, located on the west coast of Finland. The bulk of cost for the construction of the terminal, which as it was estimated is 86 million euros, will take over the company Skangas. The money provided by the EU will cover about 30% of the terminal cost. Construction of the LNG terminal is planned to be finished by 2017.

It is to be recalled that in September, 2014 Finland had decided to build three similar terminals in order to reduce the use of liquefied petroleum gas and fuel oil in the country and to decrease energy dependence on Russia.
