The five-day strike of Finnish postal workers, which was scheduled to be completed on November 24, is reaching considerable heights. Despite the fact that negotiations on a new collective agreement were held yesterday in late afternoon, the protest action continues.

On November 24 labor unions of the transport sector, Finnish aviation and sailors expressed a desire to join the striking unions. Since November 30 they stop air, sea and land transport of international mail by international postal services.

Today, on November 25, the strike also attracted several cities in Finland. According to preliminary information, the strike of Finnish postal workers will last until December 9.
