Finland and the Kaluga region plan to expand economic relations

The Kaluga region in the framework of the business forum of Finnish companies was visited by the Finnish Ambassador Hannu Himanen. During the business meeting of representatives of Finnish and Russian companies there was discussed the possibility of expanding economic relations between Finland and the Kaluga region, as well as the increase in the volume of Finnish investments in the economy of the region and in Russian companies in general. 

In the Kaluga region already successfully operate Finnish companies involved in metal processing, mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals and other industries. Kaluga manufacturers, in their turn, are interested in the Finnish wood processing technologies and agriculture. They also discussed issues of cooperation in the field of tourism and scientific research.
