In te nearest future a batch of old textiles weighing 12 tons will be sent to conversion from Finnish Turku to Holland. Gathering of obsolete articles of clothing and other textile raw materials was held since the beginning of the year within a pilot project “Textile 2.0”.

Gathered clothes will be processed in Holland mainly for car industry use. Insulating materials, rugs, car seat covering will be made of the processed raw materials. It is suggested that old textiles can be also used for needs of construction industry as well as in production of household appliances insulation.
