TID forum is for the strengthening of economic ties with Russia

In early March a business forum, one of the topic for discussion of which was the strengthening of trade relations with Russia, was held with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland and the country's leading economic organizations.
The Finnish side, including the Chamber of Commerce of Finland, Tekes and Finnvera organizations, financing the new technologies development, emphasized the need for the presence of small and medium-sized businesses representatives of the Russian Federation at the forum, the scientific environment, as the establishment of such relations strengthens economic relations between the two countries.
The parties noted the need for further development of cooperation in ecology and innovation fields. The project of Yandex company in the South of Finland, server centers of which warm the houses due to the generated heat, can be an example. On the other hand, the State University in Petrozavodsk carries out orders of Finnish companies in the IT sphere at the base of jointly established production centers.
