The customs service of Russia softened the requirements of article 193 of the new 289 Federal law "on customs regulation" for a number of Finnish companies that provide cars for use to individuals.

When the new law entered into force in September this year, a huge number of cars, provided by credit and leasing Finnish companies for use to individuals, accumulated on the border of Russia and Suomi. After all, the owner of cars, which is a foreign organization in this case, has to make the payment of customs duties and taxes for the temporary importation of more than one car into the Russian Federation. As a result, the deposit amounted to up to 10 000 euros. This measure, in fact, put a ban on the use of such equipment.

Last week, the FCS of Russia softened the requirements for the provision of collateral for two dozen Finnish financial companies, the list of which was agreed at the state level.
