Julkaistu 09 2018
Despite the economic sanctions, Finland has recently been trying to restore the previous level of business contacts with Russia, including through new joint projects.

The recent visit of a Russian delegation, which included representatives of the business environment and government structures, led to another round of increasing cooperation between the two countries. The Finnish company Valmet, one of the largest heavy industry enterprises specializing in the production of cardboard and paper machines, thus signed a contract with the Sveza group. The wood-processing company will build a new pulp mill together with Finnish specialists.

In addition, the Finnish telecommunications giant Nokia plans to create a joint venture with Rostelecom, which will specialize in the development of modern programs using Russian innovations.
