One of the largest search engines in the world plans to make a record investment in the field of environmentally friendly production – almost 600 million euros.

In the South of Finland, in the region of Hamina, it is planned to construct a new center of storage and processing of data by Google, in addition to the operational capacity data center, which opened in 2011. The total investment of the American Corporation will be almost 1.5 billion euros.

Representatives of the company emphasize that the new project will provide itself with electricity from renewable sources, which are safe from the point of view of the environment. In addition, Google plans to participate together with Finnish companies in the construction of several wind farms with a total capacity of almost 200 megawatts.
