Baltic states "freeze" border with Russia
Julkaistu 25 2022
Latvia and Estonia have launched a process of "freezing" border with Russia for the movement of goods - in March 2023 will terminate the agreement on cooperation and mutual assistance in customs matters.
At the moment, participants of the logistics market cannot predict how the process of customs clearance will change and whether it will happen at all; the most pessimistic forecasts suggest the complete closure of the border for any type of goods. In this situation Finland may become a new transit corridor for European goods going to Russia, but only if it does not introduce similar restrictive measures.
