Finland will become an investor of shipbuilding yard in Khabarovsk

Last week a Finnish delegation headed by Hannu Himanen, a plenipotentiary ambassador extraordinary of Finland in Russia, made a working visit to Khabarovsk. During the meeting with Valery Lebeda, a vice-mayor of Khabarovsk, the Finns expressed their readiness to invest money in development of different sectors of the Russian region, and first of all in modernization of the local shipbuilding yard.
In the course of the talks both sides underlined many times the similarity of Khabarovsk and Finland not only in climatic conditions but also in traditions and enthusiasm for sport. The vice-mayor of Khabarovsk, Valery Lebeda, believes that the contribution of Finnish partners in development of shipbuilding industry will allow to make the enterprise more competitive and satisfying the region needs.
