Nordea predicts reduction of prices for salmon
Julkaistu 17 elokuu 2016
According to projections of Nordea banking concern the current highest prices for salmon caused by mass fish mortality in Chile and Norway will shrink by 40% in the next 2 years. Norwegian salmon is in the highest demand in Finland, and the rise in prices for it is resulted from occurence of different diseases in reservoirs.

Nordea experts believe that production output of salmon will be restored and begins to grow in the nearest future, and salmon price will decline to 50 Norwegian krone by the beginning of 2018. S-group concern does not rally this opinion and considers that the prices will remain the same because of the fact that nowadays Norwegian enterprises are unable to meet a demand for salmon.
