Finnish car plant Valmet Automotive manufactured its first Mercedes off-roader

Valmet Automotive car plant, situated in the Finnish city of Uusikaupunki, won an international tender in 2015 for the production of a new model of Mercedes-Benz GLC. The first Mercedes off-roader was produced in Finland last week, and the plant plans to manufacture about 1000 vehicles for a year.

Daimler company, a producer of Mercedes vehicles, decided to expand the production and relocate its part on the territory of another country due to that the car plant in Bremen operate at full capacity at the present time.
