Estonia will celebrate the centenary of Finland on 9 and 10 June

During the 100th anniversary celebration of the independence of Finland, citizens of Finland will have free use of public transport in Tallinn. According to the Finland Embassy in Estonia, mass events on the occasion of this celebration are planned on 9 and 10 June.

On the 1st of May Estonia and Finland celebrated the 20th anniversary of visa-free regime. Despite the fact that before 2007, when Estonia became one of the schengen countries, these two countries had border control, cancellation of visa regime was important stage in development of international relationships between Estonia and Finland.
