Joint prospects for railway transportation for cooperation between Finland and Russia

Representatives of the “Finnish state railway campaign” and “Russian Railways” met in Kazan to discuss the problems of international transportation of goods by rail. 

At the last meeting the working party discussed a range of documents regarding the use of locomotives, load fastening, project of invoice and rules of filling its margins. Parties need to reach an agreement on the rules for passengers and goods transport satisfying the rules applicable in their national territories.

We remind that the meeting of the International Working Group Finland-Russia is held four times per year. It lays the foundation for normative legal documents and is important for both countries.
