Finland crossed over to summer speed limit

The traffic signs limitting the maximum speed in winter were changed in Finland on the 3-4 of April. The maximum speed on the major highways was increased to 100 km/h, and on the speedways - to 120 km/h. Using of snow tires on the Finland roads is prohibited since the 5 of April. 

In some areas which have roadbed damages or in unfavourable climatic zones the duration period of winter speed limit can be prolonged or other speed limits can be imposed.
