The Finns demand to stop a shipment of pigs to Poland

According to the informational portal fontanka.fi, there was an act of protest  in Hanko against HK Scan company, which exports about 6000 pigs to Poland every month. About 50 people took part in the demonstration, they demanded to cease company operations.

In protesters’ views, animals, which are subject to shipment, are managed in inadequate conditions, and it takes more than a day for transportation that contradicts The EU regulations. The local public note that complaints against the company are made for three years, but the situation hasn’t changed meanwhile.
