Dairy products industry will be supported by the government and the EU

The data portal gazeta.ru with reference to Finland Times reports that the EU and Finland government are planning to allocate 15 million euros for support of dairy products producers. The funds will be devoted in equal parts by the Government and the EU.

This decision is dictated by oversupply of dairy products in the domestic market and in this regard the need to restrict temporarily the production. One of the reasons of the current situation is a ban imposed by Russia on dairy products import from the EU countries.
