One third of Finnish companies invest in Russian enterprises
Publishedо 8 November, 2016
According to the opinion poll, taken by the Finnish-Russian chamber of trade, for the last year only 27% of Finnish companies made a contribution to development of their business in Russia. About half of investors is large enterprises, and investments were made essentially in subsidiary companies and manufacture.

Experts believe that the main cause of drop in investments is instability of Russian currency and difficult international intercouse between Russia and the EU. According to the head of Central chamber of trade of Finland, sanctions imposed by the EU do not affect as it was expected, as Russia doesn’t change its policy, and investments in manufacture on Russian soil remain.
