Export-import indices of Finland declined, but increased

Export and import of Finland in the third quarter of 2016 decreased in relation to the indices of the second quarter, however, they grew as compared to the same period of the previous year.

Quarterly comparison of the indices shows a decrease in export of Finland in July-September of this year by 3,4% and in import - by 3,3%. Year over year comparison, on the contrary, reveals an increase in export volumes by 1,4% and in import - by 0,7%.

The country’s GDP over the specified financial period grew by 1,6% as compared to the last year, and by 0,4% quarter over quarter.
